7/10
The third installment of the Riddick franchise completely redeemed the series after the less than awesome Chronicles of Riddick. A much-needed return to the series's roots made this film an exciting thriller that gave fans hope for the future of the franchise. The film will definitely stand the test of time as one of the best of the series. Hopefully, we will see more Riddick in the near future.

9/10
The third, and most recent, installment in the Riddick franchise comes back with a bang and firmly reestablishes the franchise back to its roots. The film makes a return to the simple story telling of the first one and it pays off big time.

The two different types of mercenaries that were after Riddick were tons of fun of watch. Vin Diesel once again shows off his acting chops, perfectly capturing the character of Riddick for the third time. This is the Riddick film I wanted after the first one and should please fans just as much. Also, they went back to the R-rating!
