I didn't expect much from this film, but I have to admit it was fairly entertaining. Who doesn't love a movie with a bunch of giant robots fighting each other? The acting is, of course, pretty bad. After all, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are not exactly Oscar winners.
John Turturro did provide a lot of laughs, and Jon Voight did his best with what he was given. Overall, the first Transformers film was exciting and pretty much exactly what you'd expect.
This was an extremely fun movie that was full of action and explosions. The movie may not be the most faithful to the Transformers mythology, but it still delivers a rollicking good time. Shia LaBeouf did a pretty decent job in the lead role, delivering a believable performance. Megan Fox was really just there for eye candy.
The rest of the cast did their absolute best with a decent script. Plus, it was really cool to see the Transformers on the big screen in action. In the end, I really enjoyed this movie and was highly entertained.
