After a less than impressive third outing, the Turtles make their triumphant return to the big screen. And this time it's completely animated. An impressive voice cast and excellent animation help make this a highly enjoyable entry in this long running franchise.

It was nice to see a lot of major characters from past films make a return for this one like Casey Jones. Chris Evans did great with the voice work for the character. The Foot Clan also made a welcome return. Unlike the third film, the decision to focus on mainly originally created villains worked extremely well. Patrick Stewart did a great job voicing a fairly sympathetic villain. The last thing I should mention is the fantastic animation. All the characters, especially the iconic Turtles, look amazing. There's also one scene, fighting on a rooftop in the rain, that will blow you away.

TMNT is a solid entry in the Turtles franchise, with the only flaw being its short running time. Besides that, this is a fun, fast paced movie that Turtles fans are sure to love. Too bad they never made the planned sequel.
