5/10
I’m definitely a bigger fan of the first film, but Think Like a Man Too has a couple good moments. They upped the budget from 12 million on the first film to 24 million on the second, but it made 25 million dollars less at the box office. It clearly didn’t grab people’s attention like the first one and that’s understandable after seeing it.

The entire cast returns for the sequel with the story focused on them all going to Las Vegas for the wedding of Michael (The Mama’s Boy) and Candace (The Single Mother). The plan is for the bachelor and bachelorette parties to be on Friday and then the wedding on Saturday, but they get way more than they bargained for thanks to Cedric making one horrible mistake after another and the ladies being stoned off their asses in Vegas.

There are some funny scenes involving Regina Hall, Taraji P. Henson, La La Anthony and Megan Good’s characters taking marijuana strips straight to the tongue thinking it's gum, right before they go out on Friday night, but then Kevin Hart is overused like no other. He is Cedric, Michael’s best man and just the worst one at that. It feels as though Think Like a Man Too just wanted to use the opportunity for a sequel to showcase Kevin Hart. I also think the location switch from L.A. to Vegas makes the film fucking redundant. The first one had solid scenes of everyday L.A., and this one is just filming spots in Vegas that we have seen a million times.
