The Princess Bride is a classic fairy tale about the triumph of true love and good over evil. It's a truly wonderful film that will warm your heart time and time again. Cary Elwes delivers a career-making performance that made his character Westley a cinematic icon and one of the most noble heroes in the fantasy genre.
The show stealers in this case are of course Mandy Patinkin and Andre the Giant, who play Inigo Montoya and his friend Fezzik. They work so well together that it's impossible for me to separate them from their roles. Overall, The Princess Bride is a terrific movie that has simply gotten better over time like a fine wine. Everybody can take something from it. |
