An engrossing movie that explores the theme of if sons end up repeating the sins of their fathers or forge their own paths. The story was great and had tons of great moments throughout. Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper delivered standout performances that really kept the movie going . Dane DeHaan proved to be the standout, though, as the son of a criminal who was shot by his friend's dad. A great movie that everyone should check out.
