The Lego Movie was very entertaining and oddly inspirational. It made me feel 10 years old again. It reminded us all how much fun it is to be a kid. The idea to film the whole thing using actual Legos was a genius move and made the film even better. Everyone will find something about this film to enjoy. At the very least, seeing various superheroes, wizards, and other pop culture icons all in the same movie is amazingly fun.
Will Arnett voices Lego Batman and steals the whole movie with his sarcastic, arrogant, and pumped up Dark Knight. I like the message that creativity should be encouraged and not repressed, which is something I feel very strongly about. The Lego Movie is a great film that will inspire countless more children to build spaceships and castles. |
I was highly entertained by this movie. It both shows you the joy of Legos and what it's like to be a kid again. The plot was very engaging, with edge of your seat action and humor being present throughout. The voice cast were all excellent in their respective roles. Will Arnett stole the show as Batman, constantly making me laugh anytime he was onscreen. Charlie Day was also great as an 80s spaceman, bringing his comedic touches to the film.
The film also did a great job at poking fun at certain aspects of the Lego toys. I enjoyed how the film promoted creativity and individuality, creating something both adults and children will love. An excellent film that will be embraced by everyone and should be considered a classic one day. |
