A solid movie that tells a riveting story and features some great performances from its lead actors. The lions in this film are ferocious and live up to their fearsome title. The film also doesn't shy away from the violence that is inflicted upon the people attacked, resulting in some truly gruesome sequences.
Val Kilmer does a good job in the lead role, portraying a man trying to keep everything under control. Michael Douglas absolutely steals the show as a grizzled old hunter determined to kill the lions. His introduction alone is quite memorable, firmly establishing his character right away. A good film that should entertained people due to its riveting story and great performances. |
