It's films like Sherlock Jr. that prove comedy is universal and timeless. Buster Keaton will forever be one of the godfathers of the comedy genre, making us laugh for decades to come. Sherlock Jr. is a hilarious film that is years ahead of its time in regards to special effects and stunts. There are certain trick in this film (like the whole scene with the pool balls) that I cannot for the life of me figure out how he did it. If you're in the mood for a silent comedy that will make you chuckle, this is the film for you.
