A movie that was full of heart and laughs. The plot was very intriguing and became more unexpected as it went along, which proved to be a good thing. The performances from all the actors were fantastic. Aubrey Plaza was great in the lead role, playing a character who is just trying to find her way in life. Jake Johnson is hilarious as their boss who only went to reconnect with an old high school crush.
The standout is Mark Duplass as the person who believes he can travel back in time. He is great to watch and keeps revealing more about the character. The film did a good job of exploring the theme of regret and the opportunity to fix one's past mistakes. This was a great film that was full of heart, while also providing some laughs along the way. |
