I've never been one for racing movies, but this film was so much more than that. I'd never heard of either racers before I saw this, but the story was engaging regardless. Hemsworth and Brühl were phenomenal as Hunt and Lauda, and the story that they told was unbelievable and inspiring. It is a sin that this movie was ignored by the Academy. I loved it.

While I'm not a big fan of racing myself, this was still a very engaging movie. The film does feature some great racing sequences that are truly a sight to behold, but the movie is more of a character study; specifically the characters of Hunt and Lauda and their fierce rivalry. Both Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl deliver powerhouse performances as the respective F1 drivers. This is a movie that everyone will love and become immediately engaged to the story.
