Pixar Character Hall of Fame

By Austin Johnson
Picture

On episode 93 of our Oscar Sunday podcast, Connor and I talked about Coco and gave it all kinds of praise because it deserves it. Before digging into Coco, we opened the show with a project called the Pixar Character Hall of Fame. We took Toy Story all the way to Luca into consideration which is 24 films in total. The goal was to come up with 24 characters that mean the most to Pixar’s impressive filmography. We both made rough draft lists that consisted of over 50 characters for each of us and narrowed it down to 24 characters that we agreed on inducting in the Hall.

Turning Red is out now on Disney+ and Lightyear comes out in a few months, but we wanted to just include the first 24 films for exclusivity. Now, some films are not represented here and that could possibly change in the future as we will add more characters as more films come out. For now, this is the Pixar Character Hall of Fame:

  1. Sheriff Woody - Toy Story (1995)
  2. Buzz Lightyear - Toy Story (1995)
