This may have ultimately been a Jaws ripoff, but it still proved to be a hell of a time. The plot is both a little outlandish and actually engaging. The film also has a nice sense of humor, offering up quite a bit of comedic moments throughout. I especially loved the joke in the beginning when one of the main characters is playing a Jaws video game.

The cast is pretty good in their respective roles, giving believable performances to their characters. The piranha are quite scary and there are several great scenes of them viciously attacking people. This is a fun movie that will provide entertainment for anyone who watches it.
