Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of the funniest films ever made. The comedic talent of Monty Python is unmatched and this film is their masterpiece. The plot itself is ridiculously simple, with tons of sight gags and running jokes (particularly about swallows). I really like that they discuss civil liberties of the time within the movie, and the Pythons are clearly enjoying themselves with their hilarious spoofs of King Arthur and his various Knights of the Round Table. This film is quintessential Python and remains to this day one of my all time favorites.
