This is one of the building blocks of films and you can tell. This film is mixed with elements that work for the film and elements that don't. This film is very slow and it will bore people very easily. It almost bored me but it really helps the film build the true fear the public has in the film. The tension the film builds is just amazing the last 3rd of the film just keeps building and building.
The acting ranges from corny to amazing. The full title of the film is "The Murder Among Us" and the film plays with this and flips the title in a way that you don't expect and you will expect at the same time. Fritz Lang is a master and he shows you why he is still known as one of the best film makers of all time. |
