Independence Day is one of my favorite movies. Everything about it is extremely patriotic and the effects are astounding for the 90's. The cast is stellar and the aliens are creepy, especially the infamous dissection scene which has been parodied many times since. Bill Pullman's presidential speech at the end is one of the most inspiring and uplifting speeches ever filmed, and makes this movie the perfect film to watch for the Fourth of July.
