Hot Fuzz (2007)Directed by Edgar Wright
Written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg Starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton, Paddy Considine, Rafe Spall, Kevin Eldon, Karl Johnson, Olivia Colman, Edward Woodward |
This action satire is my favorite of Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy. It's so much fun to watch and just gets better every time I watch it. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are perfect as always, bouncing off each other like they always do. It's really fun to see Timothy Dalton as the bad guy, considering his turn as 007. Dalton does a great job as Simon Skinner, giving us a likable villain.
Every movie that Pegg and Frost make with Edgar Wright is brilliant, but there's something about this film that makes it stand out even from the rest of the Cornetto Trilogy. Maybe it's the action, maybe it's the recurring jokes. All I know is this film rocks. |
