I was not impressed with this lackluster sequel that was more gross than scary. While Eli Roth continues to prove his love of gore, he suffers greatly in terms of characters and story.

The torture scenes in this sequel were considerably more freakish, with one in particular staying in my mind. Once the film ends, you'll know which one I'm talking about. It's uncomfortable to say the least.

I found this one harder to follow and much more convoluted. Plus, they abandoned the continued storyline I thought they were going to pick up on. Overall, I was not a fan.

I quite enjoyed this sequel to the original film. While it lacked some of the visceral punch of the previous installment, it still contained enough new elements to make it a solid followup.

The characters in this one are slightly more likable than the first one's. On that note, they're still not the most terribly interesting characters ever. Even though Eli Roth is not the best when it comes to characters, he certainly delivers in the gore department. The torture scenes are even more brutal than the first films. There is one scene, in particular, that will make every man cringe.

Even though I prefer the first film, I still found quite a bit to enjoy with this movie. The exploration of the Elite Hunting club was a smart decision that added even more to the movie. Eli Roth fans will find quite a bit to like about this movie.
