Horns was not at all what I anticipated and that made it so much better. I thought this was going to be a weird, comedy-horror that would miss the mark. Instead, it was a heartfelt tale of a man's quest to prove his innocence and avenge the woman he loved. He also has horns.
Daniel Radcliffe delivered a fantastic performance that all but proved he is worthy to join the ranks of the all stars. His character's journey was strange but entertaining as he connected the pieces of this bizarre puzzle and came to a shocking, earth-shattering conclusion that will honestly make you very sad. I really could have used more information on how or why he got the horns, but the film is still highly enjoyable without that info. It's a solid mystery flick with flecks of comedy and drama that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. |
