After four years of cancellation, fans rejoiced when a Futurama direct-to-video movie was announced. Bender's Big Score doesn't skip a beat, feeling just like an hour long special of the fan favorite show. The plot is delightfully original and contains just enough humor and drama to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the Futurama world.
Bender's Big Score is my favorite of the four Futurama films, as it gives a lot more depth to the already fully-developed characters, like elaborating on Fry and Leela's relationship and making Bender a Terminator-esque psycho-bot. There's a lot to like about this film and it helped give Futurama a much-beloved comeback three years later.
