I didn't think it was possible for this franchise to top itself once more, but they pulled it off. Furious 7 is by far the most over-the-top, insane, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride this franchise has ever produced. I don't know who thought up the action scenes in this movie, but they are either a certified genius or an authentic wacko.

This film had a solid cast of new supporting players, including Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, and Jason Motherf**kin' Statham! It was a genuine pleasure to see Vin Diesel fight Jason Statham in an epic climax that featured everything we love about this franchise: Fast cars, epic action, and cheesy one-liners. I could have used a little bit more Dwayne Johnson action, but his "drone strike" during the climax more than made up for it.

Furious 7 was really good, but it became great with its touching tribute to the late Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car accident before filming could be completed. The final scene is emotionally charged, showing how much the cast and crew cared about Paul, most notably Vin Diesel who delivered a tear-inducing speech about a man he affectionately called his brother. I only hope that they end the franchise here, as it perfectly wraps up the franchise and gives Paul Walker's character the sendoff that he deserved.

The Fast and the Furious proudly continues the tradition as one of the most ludicrously over the top, yet fun, action movies in cinema history. After thinking, once again, there was no way they could top the previous film, I was gladly proven wrong. Fortunately, amid all the insane action, the film also served as a touching tribute to Paul Walker, who sadly passed away before filming concluded.

As stated above, the film's action scenes are truly a sight to behold. Everything from parachuting cars out of planes, to jumping off a falling bus, and driving through skyscrapers is present, and ridiculously awesome. Seriously, this is some of the most fun I've had in the cinema in a while. Luckily, the hand to hand combat scenes are just as fun to watch also. Generally speaking, the gang have outdone themselves once again.

The returning cast fall easily back into their roles. They all still share an amazing amount of chemistry and really sell the idea of being a family. As for the new cast, they don't disappoint. Jason Statham is perfectly cast as the villain. He chews up every scene he's in and is clearly having a lot of fun in the role. Kurt Russell makes a very welcome turn as a secretive government agent. He's a complete joy to watch, bringing his usual wit and charm to the role. Finally, I can't forget Tony Jaa. He plays one of the villains and brings his impressive knowledge of martial arts to the film, creating two of the more memorable action scenes.

Furious 7 proudly continues the tradition of crowd pleasing, over the top action that the series has recently been known for. It also ends up having the most heart, ending on a very touching tribute to Paul Walker and his character. Fans of the franchise will be shedding tears by the end of the film. I know I did.
