So far, I have found nothing but enjoyment out of the Friday the 13th series, but this one had more than a few things wrong with it. Mainly, the last twenty minutes where Corey Feldman's character Tommy Jarvis inexplicably shaves his head and confronts a bewildered Jason. That scene made no sense whatsoever.

However, this seemed to be the film that Jason finally got his stride and started to become the unstoppable killing machine we know and love. Plus, how awesome is it to see Crispin Glover take an axe to the face? But, for me at least, the last scene ruined the movie and brought up a ton of unanswered questions.

Even though The Final Chapter may not have exactly been so final, it doesn't take away from the fact that it's one of my all time favorite installments; along with the equally enjoyable Jason Lives. Jason really seemed to hit his stride in this one, becoming a killing machine that never seems to stop coming at you. The kills are some of the most brutal the series has done in this installment, providing us with more iconic kills.

This was also the beginning of the Tommy Jarvis trilogy. Corey Feldman played Tommy in this entry and did a fairly good job. Finally, you got the awesomeness that is a young Crispin Glover dancing. It's really something you have to see to believe. Definitely one of my all time favorites in this great franchise.
