Flight was a phenomenal film that showed just how much addiction can ruin lives. Denzel Washington was amazing as the troubled alcoholic captain forced into the spotlight after he becomes a hero. The supporting cast was also great, most notably John Goodman, who played a drug-dealing smartass. I was impressed with the realism of the film, particularly during the plane crash. I recommend this film with flying colors.

An excellent film that shows the negative side effects of having any kind of addiction. This movie had a great story that was very engaging. Denzel Washington delivered a powerhouse performance as an alcoholic captain who saves the lives of many passengers on his flight. John Goodman was also incredibly fun to watch in his supporting role as a drug dealer.
He had me cracking up every time he was on screen. Also, the scene where he flips the plane as they are slowly crashing is one of the most well shot and exciting scenes I have seen in a while. This is an excellent movie with a great theme and excellent performances. |
