I believe that Diner had its strong points, but overall I found it a little slow. It had an excellent ensemble of characters and was filled with great performances. It's weaknesses, in my opinion, were in the story. There's barely any conflict and I kept waiting for something to happen. Having said that, the film is worth a watch simply for the fantastic performances, but don't expect an exciting story.
