The latest adaptation of the classic tale of Cinderella is arguably the best. It's a delightfully charming and magical film with a cast that brings the various characters of the fairy tale to life. Led by real-life princess Lily James, this movie is perfect for all ages and will ignite the childlike wonder within us all.
First off, Cate Blanchett has never been this evil. She played the wicked stepmother a little too well, providing a solid villain for the film. Richard Madden was wonderfully "charming" as the Prince and his chemistry with Lily James made their love believable. This was yet another hit for Disney's fairy tale revival series and I wholly recommend it to fans of the Disney classic, as well as fairy tales in general. |
