Catch Me If You Can was a great film that featured stellar performances all around. Spielberg adapted the memoirs of the real life con-man into an amazing film, which glamorizes check fraud but also shows what happens when you bite off more than you can chew.
It's amazing how far Abagnale got, considering he was a minor at the time and he was figuring it out as he went along. DiCaprio plays Abagnale's cocky, headstrong younger self with vigor and pride, as a man who knows he's the best at what he does but regrets it in the end. How has this man not won an Oscar yet? |
