I was pleasantly surprised by this movie from comedian Adam Sandler. Between his recent output of films and the negative reception towards this one, I was expecting the worst. Instead, I got a generally funny movie with some great heartwarming moments.
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore reunite for the third time in their careers. The two actors still share an insane amount of chemistry and seem to be having a ton of fun. Sandler is quite funny in this movie, delivering some well timed comedic moments. Blended really shows he still has some humor left in him. Kevin Nealon also stole the show as an oversexed person the group runs into.
Blended shows how funny Adam Sandler can be when he actually tries. The chemistry between him and Barrymore is impeccable and doesn't appear to have faded over time. This was a funny movie that critics unfairly judged. It deserves a chance.
