While I didn't expect much from a film that was basically Disney ripping off Stargate, I was hoping there would be at least a little bit of that old Disney magic. Instead, the film fell flat and left me disappointed.

The voice talents are great, but apart from that there really isn't anything special about the film. The plot is nonsensical, the magic behind Atlantis is poorly explained, and the voyage to the city itself is quite rushed. Atlantis: The Lost Empire is a black mark on Disney's near impeccable record and you're better off just watching something else.
